Understanding Dissociative Disorders

Real life is happening now are you missing it?

How would you define Dissociative Disorders? A dissociative disorder is a mental health condition that alters a person's sense of reality.

Everyone can suffer with anxiety but not everyone has an anxiety disorder. Everyone uses dissociation but not everyone has a dissociative disorder.

Is this really something we need to understand? Is it something that we will come across? According to Simeon. D (2004), “Depersonalization  Disorder: A Contemporary Overview”

“Depersonalisation is the third most common psychological symptom after feelings of anxiety and  depression.

That tells me something; yes, we need to get some understanding behind us
